Group Guidelines, Please read before joining.

Submissions should be finished pieces of work. This group should be an exhibition of refinement.

We do not accept slap-dash drawings, anything blurry/fuzzy (this includes pictures even if it is Steampunk related), stick figures, or non-steampunk related pieces.

We do NOT accept submissions that have a couple of cogs or a pair of goggles throw on at random. Especially if everything else in the piece is modern and not of the Victorian era. This includes jewelry, weaponry, art, costume photography, etc, etc, and ever one of these submissions is subject to be denied.

Submissions should fall under the following categories (not DeviantArt categories): Steampunk Costumes, Steampunk Arts/Crafts/Sculptures, Steampunk Literature, Steampunk Fine Art, Steampunk Comics, etc.

☼ Stock is not allowed, no exceptions.

☼ Nudity is not allowed, no exceptions.

☼ Gore is not allowed, no exceptions.

There are specific categories for you to submit your art to. Art submitted to the wrong folder is subject to be declined until submitted to the correct folder or asked to be moved because there was a mistake. Example: If you have DRAWN a piece of art please submit it to the Artwork folder not Costume Photography. That is a folder for photography of costumes, cosplay, and modeling in the Steampunk/Victorian category.

Submissions to the Featured folder are automatically denied. Please submit to the appropriate folder for each individual submission.

Deviants may only submit one piece per folder, per day. Anything that looks like a repeat pose is subject to be denied.

Submissions will be approved once per month at the end of the month.

All entries are subject to a vote.

Submissions are to be only Steampunk themed. This includes Victorian and Old-west based Steampunk works. Sub-genres, such as Dieselpunk, are also accepted.

Hi there, I'd love to submit work to your club, but I can only seem to submit to jewelery and what I wish to
submit is actually a drawing. I can't seem to find any options, any help would be greatly appreciated!

I'm trying to write a story based around he idea of steampunk, I really love the style of it all the only problem I'm having is building my small "fishing" town, it a town nestled behind some mountains by the ocean, the main focus of the town is their star observatory, which if off about a mile or so out to sea on what i guess would look like an oil rig, "an island mad of metal" what lines the coast line is the boat docks, a jagged cliff that holds the light house, and a sand/rock beach with the mountains on either side, so really the only way to get in and out of town in on a ship. I was thinking about having factories closer to the mountain edge and away from town with the workers and maybe poor families house closure to them with the middle class and richer families closure to the town where the shops and markets are and maybe the school.

the only problem I'm having is piecing it all together, I'm having trouble laying it all out, I figure since they are literally surrounded by mountains the the ground that the town lays on wouldn't be smooth and how the houses and shops would be, like should the houses lean out over one another while being stacked on top, perhaps with the poorer housing.

I figured coming to a place that has a better understanding of Steampunk would be able to help out ^^'

I need to create a map
